Account & Order Ownership
By creating an account on Modeller's Workshop, you are responsible for
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
- Restricting access to your account
- All activities that occur under you account and password
Customer account and orders at Modeller's Workshop are the sole property of the registered account holder and are not to be sold, loaned or otherwise transferred to another party or account holder. To do so will be grounds for cancellation of all orders and closure or termination of their account without notice.
Accounts in Modeller's Workshop are intended to be for one person.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders without notice.
After placing and paying for an order, we will strive to ship within the next business day. This does not include the weekend or on public holidays. On other occasion, shipping may be delayed due to extended holidays or any unforeseen circumstances. Announcements will be made on the Website and our Facebook page.
Purchases above AUD$200 will always be shipped by an insured, trackable method. All additional costs related to changes in your shipping method for any of the reasons above may be charged to you.
Modeller's Workshop is not responsible for anything that may happen to a package or it's contents after it was delivered to the shipping address you provided. Any use of third-parties or reshippers is at the risk of the customers.
Shipments with no tracking
Shipping methods below DOES NOT contain tracking. Please use it at YOUR OWN RISK. 99.9% of the time, the package will eventually turn up at your address.
- Any domestic shipping cost under $5
- Economy shipping for International
Any orders that qualifies for free shipping will automatically be given a standard shipping with tracking. Any additional feature (i.e. Express or Signature on Delivery) will incur costs and can be selected during checkout.
Items placed in the Shopping Cart are not held for you. An order is not placed until you complete the checkout process.
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Modeller's Workshop is committed to customer service and will promptly address any customer claims as details in our Terms and Conditions. Because we're committed to helping you, under no circumstances should you ever contact Paypal to dispute charges from Modeller's Workshop.
We will solve all genuine customer service problems through refunds, re-shipments, discounts or whatever else it takes to reach a fair solution to the problem. But we will need to hear from you if a problem has occurred.
Modeller's Workshop vigorously contests any PayPal disputes filed by customers. Customers who have filed such disputes may risk being blacklisted from using our service, meaning we will accept no further orders from them.
We always try to be as accurate as possible on our website. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, current or error-free.
If a product offered by us is not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the nature of an item that are not addressed on our website, you are responsible for asking us before you purchase the item. If you have not done so before purchasing and the items is not what you expected, the only solution is an authorised return as described in our Shipping Policy.
We reserve the right to remove or edit content without notice.
Sales & Promotions
If a campaign on Modeller's Workshop has rules that differ from these Terms & Conditions, the campaign's rules will take precedence.
If an order has been made containing items in pre-order stage. It will not be shipped until that said product comes in stock. In a rare occasion, buyers will be notified if a cancellation has been made due to unforeseen circumstances.
Deposit and Pre-orders payments
Paying a deposit or for a pre-order helps you to secure a place in the order. A balance of payment (excluding full payment) is expected when it is close to the release date. Please be advised that this payment is NON-REFUNDABLE. Please think carefully before you place the deposit.
Forgotten to add an item after placing an order?
No sweat! If the order status has not transitioned to Awaiting Shipment, you can still add them in by placing another order again. During checkout, use the code TOP_UP and in the order comments section, please mention the order # you would like to combine this to and we will handle the rest.
Remember! It is incredibly IMPORTANT that you mention the order number you would like to combine to.
Orders without order number or if previous order has been Shipped or Awaiting Shipment will not be honoured and CANCELLED.
